Short Description:

The lesson is the following one to course French I. New grammar and syntactic points are studied to go deeper in the French grammar. Students get in touch with new situations and documents so that they increase their communication skills. Emphasis is given on intercultural approach of the different audio, optical or written documents presented and studied during the lessons.

Objectives - Learning Outcomes:

The aim of the lesson is to develop new communication skills in comprehension and production of written and oral speech using documents with big variety of themes. Students learn how to describe events that happened in the past and how the system of the past tenses works in French. At the end of the course, they are already able to describe well their environment and to express their plans for the immediate and later future. They can compare, can take part in a discussion and defend their points of vue, express their approbation/disapprobation/ agreement/disagreement. Students are provided with simple documents from popular French press to get use to read it and be informed about the country.
