In the context of the celebrations for the 200 Years of the Greek Revolution, the Ionian University organizes an online conference on the historical view and pedagogical viewpoint of the Revolution.
Project "BYRON" - an innovative experiential educational serious game for exploring the social identity of the Greek Revolution - invites you to an Online Conference, on May 6, 2021 at 16:00. The Conference is organized by the Department of Regional Development of the Ionian University and consists of the following two parts:
Part 1 - Greek Revolution: from the historical past to the present
Part 2 - Greek Revolution and education: the BYRON digital game
The "BYRON" game is developed by the Humanistic and Social Informatics Laboratory (HILab) of the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University with the contribution and cooperation of members of the Department of History and the Department of Regional Development. The Scientific Coordinator of the entire project is the Director of HILab, Associate Professor of the Department of Informatics, Dr. Phivos Mylonas, while the project is funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research & Innovation (H.F.R.I.) in the framework of the 1st Call of the Action "Science and Society" "200 Years since the Greek Revolution".
