Lectured at Dept. of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies, Univ. of Macedonia, 2000-2001, and at Dept. of Archival and Librarian Studies, Ionian Univ., 2000-2003. Lecturer in Ottoman History, Dept. of History, Ionian Univ. , since 2003.
Research interests centring on the social and economic history of the Hellenic geographical space during the Ottoman rule on the basis of Ottoman sources. A member of the Turkish Studies Association and of the Mediterranean Maritime Historians. Author of Η Σάμος κατά την οθωμανική περίοδο [Samos during the Ottoman Rule], Thessaloniki , 2002.
