Kokkomelis Nikos

  1. Kokkomelis was born in Athens (1979). He studied History at the University of Ioannina. He continued his postgraduate studies in Paris, École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, under tutorship of Prof. George B. Dertilis and (since 2005) François Hartog. In Paris he also competed his doctoral dissertation at Université de la Sorbonne – Paris IV under the supervision of Prof. Gérard Ferreyrolles.

His research intersests involve history of historical thinking and litrary criticism, baroque and 17th century historiography and interrelations between factual and fictional writing. 

He has taught at postgraduate programs in Greece (Ionian University, University of Ioannina, Panteion University) and France (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales).

He is a member of the Bibliotheca Academica Translationum research project (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (ANHIMA) – University of Oxford) (http://bat.ehess.fr/bdd/).

His works are being published in collective volumes, scientific journals and congress proceedings.
